THURSDAY 10TH JUNE 2021

WE ARE RE-OPENING!

We are excited to announce that both Glen Waverley & Oakleigh Golf courses will re-open from Friday, June 11th 2021! We know you’re keen to tee off on our greens so please use our online booking system to help you secure your booking time. Please click on the link here to save your spot today.

COVID RESTRICTIONS:

  • The outdoor gathering limit is 10 people;
  • a 100m distance can be maintained within groups
  • Competitions cannot be conducted, however handicapping of social scores is permitted;
  • Masks must be worn indoors unless eating or drinking, or outdoors where 1.5m social distancing cannot be observed;
  • Service Victoria QR requirements have been expanded to include mandatory check-in across all retail settings and workplaces;
  • Group coaching can recommence in groups of 10 or less (including the coach);
  • The 25km movement limit applies to members and players;

In line with the directions issued by the State Government, we will now look to re-open Friday 11th June 2021.

For our members & students at our courses, you will be credited for the period we are closed. As customer accounts were debited before the announcement these credits will take effect in the next debiting period. 

All course bookings during the closure will be cancelled, we recommend rebooking yourself directly using the rebook function in your confirmation email. Alternatively, we can call to arrange a new tee time. 

We appreciate this is an emerging situation and will provide further updates if required.

Dear Members & Patrons, 

In line with the directions issued by the State Government, we will be closed from Friday 28th May and re-opening Friday 4th June 2021.

For our members & students at our courses, you will be credited for the period we are closed. As customer accounts were debited before the announcement these credits will take effect in the next debiting period.

FRIDAY 12 FEBRUARY 2021

In line with the directions issued by the State Government, Glen Waverley & Oakleigh Golf Courses will be closed from Saturday 13th February, and re-open on Thursday 18th February 2021.

For our members & students at our courses, you will be credited for the period we are closed. As customer accounts were debited before the announcement these credits will take effect in the next debiting period.

All course bookings during the closure will be cancelled, we recommend rebooking yourself directly using the rebook function in your confirmation email. Alternatively, we can call to arrange a new tee time.

MONDAY 23RD NOVEMBER 2020

Due to restrictions announced today by the State Government, we have some new changes at our facility.

The below strict guidelines will need to be adhered to utilise our golf course.

  • Online Bookings are still ESSENTIAL – please click below to book.
  • Face masks are not required to play.
  • Walk-ins will be permitted but subject to availability
  • A contact tracing system will be in place on your arrival.
  • Equipment is available for hire now.

SUNDAY 18TH OCTOBER 2020

Due to restrictions announced today by the State Government we are excited to re-open our facilities to the public from tomorrow, Monday, 19th October 2020 at 9am.

The below strict guidelines will need to be adhered to to utilise our golf course.

  • Online Bookings are ESSENTIAL – please click below to book.
  • Only 4 people can play at any one time
  • No refunds been given for cancelations. Rescheduling possible up to 3 days before.
  •  
  • You must wear an appropriate face mask, covering nose and mouth the whole time.
  • Walk-ins will be permitted but subject to availability
  • A contact tracing system will be in place on your arrival.
  • There will be no cart hire permitted during this time.
  • There will be no hire equipment.
  • Driving range remains closed.

SUNDAY 2ND AUGUST 2020

Inline with the state governments stage 4 restrictions the golf course will be closed until further notice.

THURSDAY 9TH JULY 2020

Inline with recent government announcements, Oakleigh and Glen Waverley Golf Courses will remain open during this six week lockdown period. The below strict guidelines will need to be adhered to:

  • Only 2 people can play at any one time
  • All participants including members MUST call in order to make a booking.
  • No walk-ins will be taken during this period.
  • A contact tracing system will be in place on your arrival.
  • There will be no cart hire permitted during this time.
  • Due to demand and limits per group, golfers will only be permitted to play 9 holes at Oakleigh.

MONDAY 11TH MAY 2020

We have some good news! Golf at Oakleigh is back as of 13th May 2020.

We will be operating under our regular operating hours but with new restrictions.

  • No sharing of Buggies or pull carts
  • No pins, no rakes in bunkers and cups turned up
  • The pro-shops will be open with restrictions in place
  • Cashless payment is encouraged
  • Adhering to social distancing & hygiene measures 
  • 10 people only on putting green

Dear members & patrons,

We understand that with so much information relating to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) going around in the media, you may have concerns about how the situation is being managed at our large public facility.

Here are some tips to we recommend to minimise the risk of the virus spreading. Please understand that the safety, health and well-being of our customers and staff is always our top priority. Our golf course continues to be a public facility and workplace that remains safe to attend.

We want you to feel confident when you’re using our facilities. We have and will continue to put in place a number of proactive measures to protect customers and staff well-being:

  • Hand sanitiser available throughout the facility.
  • Thorough cleaning and sanitisation practices throughout the centre
  • Multilingual signage relating to personal hygiene in key areas.
